Broken teeth
Broken, chipped or cracked a tooth or filling? This can be associated with pain and will need urgent dental treatment. Depending on the size of the chip or break, there are a variety of options available.
Bad breath
Bad breath, or halitosis, can be caused by having gum disease or the presence of dental decay. Left untreated, the condition gets worse — the bacteria in the mouth forms volatile sulphur compounds and can produce a bad smell.
Bleeding gums
When our gums bleed, it is a sign of inflammation. Left untreated, this can lead to bone loss and eventually losing your teeth. Bleeding gums can be caused by not having routine dental hygiene visits, periodontal gum disease, and can also bleed during pregnancy.
Worn down teeth
Years of wear and tear, certain habits, and extensive dentistry can all give way over time. Some people have old fillings, broken teeth, root canals and missing teeth. Speak to us so we can work out a treatment plan tailored for you.
Sensitive teeth
Tooth sensitivity is caused by worn tooth enamel or exposed nerves in your teeth. When you eat or drink something with an extremely low or high temperature, you may feel a sudden, sharp flash of pain — caused by dental decay, gum recession, brushing too hard, or clenching and grinding.
Discoloured teeth
Are your teeth stained or discoloured? Professional whitening options guided by your dentist can help manage the appearance of tooth colour.
Missing teeth
Start your smile journey with us! Missing a tooth or multiple teeth? Functionality is affected and over the years things start to deteriorate. Our aim is to work out the possible options and provide costs that will help guide you in the right direction.
Crooked teeth
We offer a range of options such as Invisalign to our patients of all ages. In some instances, porcelain veneers or dental bonding may be an option to improve the shape, size and colour of teeth without going through orthodontic treatment.
Wisdom teeth pain
At our Thornbury studio, we offer surgical wisdom teeth removal. Our team of experienced Melbourne dentists can work with you through all the options and costs available.
